Although it looks and like something built in some master's shop in Tanelorn, the ZT0456 manual flip folder is actually made in the USA. The Belarusian aspect comes from designer Dmitry Sinkevich (@sinkevichdesign), with whom ZT collaborated. Based on one of Dmitry's previous custom designs, the 0456 somehow manages to balance a robust, even hefty build with sleek lines and graceful deployment. The custom aluminum backspacer, pivot hardware and pocketclip are all finished in a stark, contrasting blue, while the body sports an overall stonewash-and-satin two-tone finish (on the flats and grinds, respectively) with accenting milling lines — a very nice touch, those. It retains the 3D rayed contours of its custom predecessor. The ZT 0456 opens with ZT's KVT ball-bearing system and remains secure with a Ti frame lock and hardened steel lockbar insert. A left/right reversible pocketclip allow you to modify it for preferred to your preferred carry method. It's pivot down only, but there is a lanyard hole on the other end. Blade steel is CTS-204P. We predict this will become a favorite of even the most desultory or jaded of ZT collectors.
