Learn More Written by Jacki Billings Steiner amps up its product line introducing new MOA T5Xi Tactical Scopes models. The T5Xi series has been out and about since 2015, but now shooters have their choice of either a 3-15×50 or 5-25×56 model with MOA adjustments. The company says the T5Xi series can be carried from “combat to competition” due to its clarity and accuracy under nearly any shooting condition. Steiner outfits the T5Xi with its Special Competition Reticle, or SCR. The SCR bills itself as a precision reticle designed to tackle extreme long range shooting and now can do so in MOA adjustments. The illuminated SCR reticle features a second rotation indicator that displays 1/4 MOA of elevation via an indication window on the elevation turret. Both the 3-15×50 and 5-25×56 versions opt for a 34mm tube paired with an etched glass reticle and first focal plane design. Steiner also worked to ensure the T5Xi lineup was low-profile, meshing seamlessly with its rifle counterpart. Other notable features include resettable Never-Lost turrets and a locking diopter ring. The 3-15×50 variant is the shorter of the two, measuring 13.1-inches in length with a weight of 29.-ounces. The 5-25×56 comes in a little longer, with a length of 16.6-inches and weight of 33-ounces. Both are nitrogen filled in addition to offering a fog-proof and waterproof design up to 33 feet. “During development, we brought in top competitive shooters and tactical instructors to find out what they needed to be more successful,” Tom Frane, VP of Sales, Marketing and Business Development said when the original T5Xi series launched. “Shooters and instructors were involved all the way from design to production. The T5Xi is the direct result of their input and refinement.” The MOA T5Xi 3-15×50 is priced at $2,274 while the larger 5-25×56 option offers a slightly higher price of $2,529.
