Springfield Armory NEW Model 2020 Waypoint Long Action

NEW from Springfield Armory comes the long awaited long action Model 2020 Waypoint!

Building on the success of the short action version, the long action is available in 20 new SKUs and 6 calibers.

MSRP ranges from $2,173 for a non-adjustable stock and stainless steel barrel up to $2,670 for an adjustable stock and carbon-fiber barrel.

All barrel lengths are 24”, all the stocks are made from carbon fiber.

Two colors are offered, Ridgeline Camo and Evergreen Camo.

Just like the short action version, every Waypoint has a 90-degree bolt throw, Remington 700 pattern pic rail on the action, dual locking lugs, and a removable bolt knob. They also come standard with radial brakes that are removable. The barrel is threaded 5/8×24 for suppressor attachment!

Weight of the long action is roughly 8 lbs depending on caliber, barrel, and adjustable vs. non-adjustable stock. Adjustable stock, carbon-fiber barrel 7 PRC is 8 lbs 2 oz. Non-adjustable, CF barrel is 7 lbs 5 oz.

For context, the adjustable stock 6.5 Creedmoor short action version is 7 lbs 8 oz, non-adjustable, CF barrel 6.5 Creedmoor is 6 pounds, 12 oz.
