I have an FNX-40 and I absolutely love it. I would agree that the trigger is tight out of the box, I have started to notice it has loosened up a bit after about 600 rounds and 3 range sessions. I have read that after about 1,000 rounds the trigger will be fully broken in and will complete the feel of the gun. Overall I think FNH did a great job with the gun; compared to my USP in .40 it has a lot of the similar features, but was half the cost.
