Daniel Defense announced several new products today, including the DDM4v11 Series AR rifles and a few pistol variants. The DDM4v11 features Daniel Defense's first foray into KeyMod, the direct-attachment system that allows users to easily attach accessories to the company's new SLiM RAIL (Slim Lightweight Modular) handguard. It's 15 inches in length, providing great flexibility for a variety of accessories, bracing for support, and grasping the handguard as far forward as you might like. It has a full-length top rail and KeyMod at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. The rifle will be available with cold hammer forged 16-inch Government, 16-inch Lightweight, or 18-inch S2W (Strength-to-Weight) barrels. They ship with Daniel Defense's buttstock and pistol grip. The 16-inch Government model weighs 6.3 pounds and will retail for $1,599. In addition, Daniel Defense unveiled a pistol version of its popular MK18 Factory short barreled rifle. Given difficulties and delays with obtaining the required ATF paperwork for SBRs, AR pistols have been increasing in popularity. The new MK18 pistol has the same cold hammer forged, chrome lined 10.3-inch barrel with carbine length gas system and MK18 RIS II FDE rail system as its SBR brethren. It is 27 1/6-inches long and 5.4 pounds. DD is also offering a similarly configured AR pistol in .300 BLK. The .300BLK barrel has a S2W profile and a pistol length gas system. The DDMK18 and DDM4300 pistols will both retail at $1,699.
