Last week Sig released a couple of videos, one recapping their 2016 Range Day, the other going over some of their new electro-optic line. If you haven't yet had a chance to watch either of the Sig Sauer Range Day and Electro-Optics overviews, here ya go. Of such optics as the Bravo MegaView, Whiskey SBT Custom Turrets and Romeo MOTAC ilumination Sig Sauer tells us, “We have developed truly game changing optics for all types of shooters: military, law enforcement, hunters, and competitive shooters. Our design approach set these SIG SAUER electro-optics apart from the competition. We use integrated platforms, designed to work as a complete system with your firearm. Everything in the line has been thoroughly thought-out, from the anti-reflective coatings, ballistic reticles, and custom-calibrated adjustment turret systems to the motion activated illumination control systems. All to ensure maximized performance and accuracy.” Says Sig, “Innovation and firearms that's been brewing at Sig for the last three to four years is now coming to fruition. This is an opportunity to test probably the most innovative package out there today.” That's not a huge exaggeration. There's lots of pistol-ly, long gun-nish, suppressor and other sorts of Sig goodnessin the video. You'll hear from people like John Hollister of their suppressor division, Bud Fini of the Ammunition Division, Andy York of their Electro-Optics Division, Dani Navickas of their ASP (Advanced Sport Pellet) Air Division, Executive VP of Commercial Sales Tom Taylor, “SIG SAUER welcomed over 1,000 invited guests to the Clark County Shooting Complex in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 18, 2016, one day before SHOT Show. This was an exclusive opportunity to test the latest SIG SAUER products and to get a closer look at how SIG SAUER is becoming the complete weapons systems provider, combining firearms with optics, silencers, ammunition, airguns, and accessories.” Why you can trust RECOIL Since our founding in 2012, RECOIL remains the premier firearms lifestyle publication for the modern shooting enthusiast.
