Made of durable PVC lined polyester, the awning is waterproof and offers UV protection. We have one on the range truck we usually take out. It easily bolts to holes that you drill into your roof rack. We were able to install ours in about an hour. The awning is stores in an attached heavy-duty PVS lined bag that features an equally heavy-duty zipper closure. To set it up, roll out the awning and unfold the collapsible legs. The legs are telescopic and can be adjusted for uneven surfaces and differing truck heights. The legs come with roped stakes that can be driven into the ground. On hard surfaces we weigh them down with ropes attached to ammo cans. Our truck’s awning stands about 7-feet 6-inches so aside from an NBA center, nobody needs to duck when getting under it.
