What you see above is the Aridus Industries QDC (Quick Detach Carrier). It is designed to make up for the shortcomings of elastic shotgun cards and fixed sidesaddles. Worn loops, torn material, broken carriers, and dirt filled Velcro will not be issues one should face with the QDC system. QDC Carriers hold six extra shotgun shells. The carrier body is an injection molded glass-filled nylon with a 6061 aluminum plate that locks into the receiver adapter. The plate allows a metal on metal contact with the receiver. The receiver adapter is machined aircraft grade 6061 aluminum with a spring loaded steel latch. Spare Aridus carriers easily fit in most M4 type magazine pouches. Additional methods of carrying spare carriers are in development. What is the NSSF SHOT Show? The NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) and Conference is an annual event held by the National Shooting Sports Foundation.
