When not worshiping at the Altar of the Hallowed Ancient Archaeopteryx, the so-called Dead Bird Society does a lot of good. Their latest effort is a fundraising raffle to benefit the Special Operations Care Fund. SOC-F is a non-profit that raises money to help the families of slain US military SOF personnel. This will be the final fundraiser of the year, and the biggest one to date. The raffle winner will get the following loot: – 1 Midwest Industries 16″ carbine with EOtech EXPS3-2 (unpictured, provided by Operation parts). FFL required. – 1 year (2016) of classes with Sentinel Concepts – 1 Arc'teryx Alpha jacket (of your choice) – 1 pair of TD Carlos Ray pants – 1 TD Downrange Jacket Raffle tickets are $25, with unlimited entries, but the raffle closes this Friday night at 21h00 (9pm) EST. You can e-mail schefp7@gmail.com for entry info. A non US resident winner will receive only the soft goods; the rifle and training would be raffled again for another winner. Raffle organizers advise they will not ship the rifle to winners OCONUS and they won't ship Steve Fisher anywhere.
