Learn More One of my favorite announcements for 2020 was hearing that GA Precision has released a Production Class rifle, dubbed the Pinnacle Production Rifle, or PPR for short. In the past few years, precision rifle shooting has charged ahead without looking back, and with more and more folks looking to try their hand at precision rifle competition, the Production Class is a great starting point. The Production Class was designed to encourage new shooters to participate while preventing them from being at a disadvantage due to the lack of custom equipment. Per the Precision Rifle Series website, the PRS rulebook states: “For the purpose of the Production Division, a rifle is defined as a publicly available rifle per the original manufacturer's configuration of a complete firearm which will be comprised of at least but not limited to the following: stock with bottom metal or chassis, a complete action, a barrel, and a trigger mechanism.” Additionally, Production Class rules state that the cost of the rifle must not exceed $2,500 USD per the company's website, and that the optic must not exceed $2,000 USD per the company's website. But, enough about the rules, let's take a look at GA Precision's new rifle! The first thing you should know is that any rifle made by GAP will be of the highest quality, down to every detail.
