The new Viper HS-T (Hunting Shooting Tactical) is now available. It blends features from the Viper HS and the Viper PST riflescopes and is available in 4-16x44MOA and Mrad models. The new riflescope boasts an all-new, hashmark-based second-focal-plane reticle that is designed for accurate holds at extended ranges. The Mrad reticle hashes subtend in .5 and full-value increments while the MOA reticle hashes subtend in 2 MOA increments. Both are set for use at the riflescope’s maximum 16-power magnification. Target style elevation turrets are precise, repeatable and durable. They were designed specifically for dialing, and combined with the Vortex (Customizable Rotational Stop) system, will allow shooters to quickly re-index their turret after temporary elevation corrections have been made. The HS-T’s 30mm one-piece machined aluminum tube ensures ample travel for optimal adjustment. The riflescope features an eyebox with generous 4 inch eye relief and and a fast focus eyepiece to get shooters on target quickly and easily. Its XD (extra-low dispersion) glass was chosen to provide sharp, crisp images from edge to edge. Lenses fully multicoated with Vortex’s proprietary XR coatings offer superior light transmission for the best possible performance in low light scenarios, while exterior lenses feature ArmorTek, an ultrahard optical coating engineered to protect against scratches, oil and dirt. The O-ring issealed and purged with argon gas for 100 percent waterproof/fogproof performance. Its shockproof construction will help withstand recoil and impact from every angle.
