UTM is best known for their Man Marking Rounds (MMR), but they manufacture more than that. Today we'll show you two different kinds of UTM blank rounds. Here's what they say about 'em. UTM Battlefield and Silent Blank Rounds The UTM Blank Rounds are invaluable for teaching fundamentals of weapon handling and marksmanship in any environment. They add realism to defensive tactics (i.e., gun retention training, contact shots, weapon take-aways, etc), allow for mission rehearsals/flow drills/scenarios, blending of firearms, combatives/Defensive Tactics and CQB training and more, all in a safe environment. This allows for normal weapon function and recoil and the 18 Inch stand-off allows safe and realistic training with no heat or flame. The Silent Blank Round provides a Dry Fire round that cycles the weapons with realistic and consistent cyclic rates in semi-automatic which match “Live” fire reliability with no emissions or noise. Normal weapon function and recoil, No Heat or Flame. NO BFA required (UTM weapon conversion required), No separation distance. Zero gas emissions, U.S. EPA compliant landfill safe and only available in a non-toxic option. These are sold in units of 1,000 only. More about UTM, in their own words: UTM was founded in 2000 with a mission to provide a safe training ammunition that would allow military, law enforcement and professional training organizations to ‘train as they fight’ in immersive and authentic training environments and disciplines. With this in mind, the original zinc round was introduced to the market with such success that UTM was sold in 2003 to its current owners, JEB Engineering Design Ltd (to then form the UTM World Holdings Group), a precision engineering and high volume manufacturing firm whose founders also had a passion for weaponry and accuracy.
