XGO’s Power Skins are now available. First unveiled back in February, Power Skins are billed as a ‘Versatile Tech Layer’ line of all purpose, 4-way stretch moisture-wicking garments. They are the newest part of XGO’s 4 Phase System. The Power Skins are a lightweight material suitable for athletic activities of any kind but are not FR (Flame Retardant). They do use the AG47 antimicrobial silver treatment, which makes them unique in the ‘technical fabric’ product field. Says XGO’s Sherry Lyons, “Our market has been talking to us for the past year about the need for a technical performance t-shirt that has the feel of cotton and wicking of polyester, and we have developed the solution with our new Power Skins® T-shirts for men & women. The initial responses from our test wearers have been phenomenal. The new running short with liner was developed specifically for our U.S. Elite Forces. Several divisions were searching for Made in the USA and Berry compliant PT gear — now we are happy that it is being offered in our general line with the compression shorts and tights. Hopefully, the general market will find it as high performance as our U.S. Elite forces have!” Men’s Power Skins shirts are available in compression, loose-fit PT, sleeveless and standard tee; Women’s are currently available only in relaxed fit. Women’s briefs and men’s boxer briefs, running shorts and compression long pants are likewise available. Power Skins®, like the rest of the XGO line, is 100% Made in the USA and Berry Compliant.
