All-New Tenicor SAGAX LUX Holster Now Shipping

It isn't often that a holster hits the market with the potential to change how we look at concealment. The all-new Tenicor SAGAX LUX has the potential to do exactly that with one of the lowest profile solutions for carrying a gun with a compact weapon light.

Where the SAGAX LUX is a departure from most holsters, just look at the minimalist approach to covering the light bezel. The new design removes that pesky seam that runs along the bottom of the light, but he also found a way to make one holster model compatible with most compact pistol lights.

Also new to both the SAGAX LUX and the new VELO 4th Generation is what is being called the body contour. This feature replaces the multi-angle wedge that was used on the VELO with a contoured wedge that Tenicor says will remove the hot spots that you might experience with the older style wedge.

Tenicor has changed up how they accomplish rotating the grip of the gun into the body. Unlike the claw on the VELO they now use a user-replaceable spacer they call a camming bar. The SAGAX LUX will come with three different heights to fine-tune the amount of rotation.

As with the rest of the Tenicor IWB and AIWB lineup, they use the excellent Discreet Carry Concepts clips. Our experience with the DCC clips is that once you try them, all other holster attachments will be ruined for you. Not only are they ultra-low profile, but they are stable and stay put no matter how hard you tug on them.

The SAGAX LUX brings authentic concealment to appendix carry light holsters.  This holster is more concealable than most non-light holsters.  Additionally, the SAGAX LUX is compatible with a variety of compact weapon lights (Streamlight TLR7, Surefire XC1-B, XC2, Inforce APLc). The body contour on the holster is designed to fit to your body, driving the top of the gun flush against the torso. OPTIMIZED CONCEALMENT | All excess material has been removed, the profile of the SAGAX LUX is smaller than most non-weapon mounted light holsters. This allows the holster to ride more toward the hip point and lower in the belt line for optimal concealment. Attachment points for loops have been removed to minimize the holster's profile. 

LEAN DESIGN | The features of the SAGAX LUX are intentionally molded into the holster for a slim and durable product.  The SAGAX  LUX is made from thick (0.093”) and durable thermoplastic for longevity. Secure the all steel hardware with the provided thread-locker for durable long-term use.

• The high ride shirt guard is carefully profiled to allow for an unencumbered thumbs up grip.
