Learn More Bushnell announces three completely new lines of hunting optics, as the 2018 NRA Annual Meetings and Exhibits kick off in Dallas this week. Offerings include riflescopes, binoculars, spotting scopes, and laser rangefinders. Bushnell Prime The value-conscious offering, Bushnell’s new Prime line is intended to provide solid technology and quality at low prices. The Prime riflescopes range in retail price from $155.95 to $359.95. Most will come with Bushnell’s Multi-X crosshair reticle, and all are 1-inch, second focal plane optics. 1-4×32, $155.95 5-10×36 (2 reticle options), $179.95 3-9×40, $215.95 4-12×40, $275.95 6-18×50, $359.95 The Prime roof-prism binoculars come in six different configurations, retailing from $107.95 to $215.95. They have multi-coated lenses and waterproof construction. 10×25, $107.95 8×32, $143.95 10×28, $155.95 8×42, $167.95 10×42, $179.95 12×50, $215.95 Prime spotting scopes also have multi-coated lenses and are waterproof. There will be three models: 16-48×50, $359.95 20-60×65 (straight or 45 degree eyepiece), $431.95 Prime laser range finders can range targets up to 1,300 yards away, with a scan mode to continuously update distance and angle range compensation to account for aiming uphill or downhill when ranging. 5×20, $239.95 6×24, $194.95 Bushnell Nitro The next step up, the Nitro line adds additional technology and features, in order to deliver excellent performance in the field or on the range. Bushnell’s Nitro 30mm riflescopes come in a multitude of different variations, with 5 models coming with a selection of reticles in either the first or second focal plane, capped or target turrets, and black or grey finish. Reticle options include the Multi-X crosshair and Bushnell’s Deploy reticle in MOA and mils. Additionally, the scopes come with side parallax adjustment, Butler Creek flip-up covers, and sun shades. The 35 configurations will retail from $419.95 to $839.95. 5-10×44, $419.95 to $599.95 3-12×44, $479.95 to $659.95 4-16×44, $539.95 to $719.95 5-20×44, $599.95 to $779.95 6-24×50, $659.95 to $839.95 The Nitro roof-prism binoculars feature extra-low dispersion glass, advanced coatings, and a rugged housing. Three models will be offered: 10×25, $299.95 10×36, $359.95 10×42, $419.95 Bushnell’s Nitro spotting scopes offer similar extra-low dispersion glass and coatings. 15-45×65, $719.95 20-60×65, $899.95 The Nitro 6x20mm laser range finder will range out to one mile. In addition to scan mode and angle range compensation, it has a brush mode to ignore foreground objects like brush and branches as well as a bullseye mode to range small targets. Its MSRP will be $359.95. Bushnell Forge The premium line, Bushnell’s new Forge products are intended for serious shooters with demanding needs. Retailing from $899.95 to $1,139.95, Forge riflescopes are weatherproof and waterproof, with premium coatings. They feature 30mm tubes, side parallax, locking zero stop turrets, Butler Creek flip-up covers, and sunshades. Three models are available in black and tan, and with several ballistic reticles (Deploy and DOA in MOA and mils) in the first and second focal plane. 5-15×50, $899.95 to $1,019.95 3-18×50, $959.95 to $1,079.95 5-27×50, $1,019.95 to $1,139.95 The new Forge binoculars boast extra-low dispersion glass and a whole host of Bushnell’s best coatings, including ultra wide band, phase, and dielectric coatings.
