Defense Glock 43 vs. Glock 26 David Reeder May 19, 2015 Join the Conversation At RECOIL, we review every product fairly and without bias. Learn More Aaron Cowan of Sage Dynamics just released a video wherein he discusses his marked preference for the G26 over the G43. He makes some great points about magazine capacity, concealment, need and other matters. Unfortunately take a different stance on some of it; some of it I completely disagree with. I like the G43 and think there's plenty of reason to carry one. Note – I'm friends with Aaron and respect him as an instructor. In fact I recently attended one of his courses, where I had a great time and learned some things (that was actually “my” G43 in the first part of the video). He knows I take a different position on the “small gun issue”; luckily we both think it's in disagreement and intelligent discourse that learning occurs. A good debate is a Good Thing. Here's his take on the G43 vs. G26: Agree with him or not, we are (as he says in this video) “…becoming a more intelligent shooting community.” That's another Good Thing, so let's keep that impetus going with reasoned discussion. More to follow as soon as I have time to pen a response. In the meantime, carry whatever you want as long as you're doing so responsibly and pragmatically and training with it.
