Learn More Yesterday was the day the Russian Army (at least) celebrates as the birthday of the ubiquitous Avtomatni Kalashnikova model-1947, making that weapon 66 years old. That makes this a fitting weekend for Rifle Dynamics to announce an upcoming AK Armorer/Operator Class in West Virginia (see below). Rifle Dynamics perhaps the best-known US-based AK custom build and training-organization. They built the AKM you see in the feature image for US PALM. Equally fitting, the announcement of an upcoming AK Armorer and AK 101 combined class from Snake Hound Machine and Rockwell Tactical in New Hampshire (more on that below too). Why an AK? Here's one answer, courtesy of Rifle Dynamics' own del Verrocchio, Jim Fuller. Another Kalash gunsmith gaining an increasing reputation as a solid AK builder is Owen Martin of the fore-mentioned Snake Hound Machine. Why an AK? Here's his answer. You can enroll in the SHM/Rockwell combo class here. Cost for the long, one-day course (to be held August 2nd 2013) is $300.00. If you are interested in the Rifle Dynamics Armorer/Operator course mentioned above, it will be held August 17-18 in Summit Point, WV. They are only offering 20 seats for the class, and it will fill up fast. Cost is $450. Send email to info(at)rifledynamics.com to register or for more information.
