Learn More MDT is a manufacturer of parts for precision rifles based out of Chilliwack BC, Canada. The recently fired us off a printer sample of the new MDT catalog that will be distributed at SHOT Show this year. In it we noticed a couple of new products and wanted to give you a sneak peak. You can also expect to see some articles on some MDT goodies we have had in our hands for a bit. We currently have the V3 version of the Skeleton Rifle Stock. The lite sheds some pounds and gets rid of the dials for push buttons. The Skelton Rifle Stock Lite appears to have done the Atkins diet. It keeps all of the functionality of the regular Skeleton Rifle Stock while changing to push buttons. The push buttons allows the shooter to easily get the stock configured for any shooting position. MDT is also releasing some rings this year in varying sizes. In MDT's bid to be a one stop precision rifle shop has come out with some new scope rings. If past performance shadows future these should be some well made and affordable rings. You can check out Modular Driven Technologies current offerings at booth number 1748 on the first floor. ### The NSSF SHOT Show (Shooting, Hunting, and Outdoor Trade Show) and Conference is an annual event held by the National Shooting Sports Foundation. Typically attended by thousands of people from all 50 states and over a hundred countries, it is (quite rightfully) described as the “…world's premier exposition of combined firearms, ammunition, law enforcement, cutlery, outdoor apparel, optics, and related products and services. Imagine the Worlds' Fair, but packed with everything from mini-guns and every breed of bullet to body armor, bows, eye pro, ear pro, optics, boots, socks…you get the idea. Interestingly (perhaps fortuitously, for some) SHOT 2016 overlaps the 2016 AVN Awards, which would provide us with article fodder of an entirely different nature if we thought anyone there might have good trigger awareness and muzzle discipline… You can see imagery from our coverage of last year's SHOT Show right here. 2016 SHOT Show January 18 — Media on the Range (numerous shooting facilities in and around Las Vegas) January 19–22, 2016 Sands Expo and Convention Center Las Vegas, Nevada Hours Tuesday, January 19 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 20 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 21 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Friday, January 22 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Explore RECOILweb:This Weekend in Georgia: The Precision Rifle ExpoKDG SIDELOK™ - Aimpoint Micro MountVCQB Day 3 - Some lessons are best learned under stressWar Shows Who We Are: A Ukrainian’s Perspective of Daily Life in a Country Ravaged by War NEXT STEP: Download Your Free Target Pack from RECOILFor years, RECOIL magazine has treated its readers to a full-size (sometimes full color!) shooting target tucked into each big issue.
