Smith & Wesson has been filling out the M&P M2.0 lineup since the line's introduction. Smith & Wesson has now added a brand new M2.0 Compact in .45 ACP in a size that should be popular with law enforcement. The new M&P45 will sport a 4-inch barrel and a full-sized frame likely placing it in the same size bracket as the Glock 19X or the FN 509. The new configuration of the M&P M2.0 will carry over all of the improvements that were applied to the rest of the line like the aggressive texturing, improved trigger, and a spring-loaded detent on the slide stop. Smith's press release says that the new M2.0 Compact in .45 ACP will have an MSRP starting at $569 for the standard white three dot sight model. Check the Smith & Wesson website for more information. The M&P45 M2.0 Compact pistol is available with an MSRP starting at $569, and comes standard with a white-dot front sight and a white two-dot rear sight, two 10-round magazines, and an accessory rail. The M&P45 M2.0 Compact pistol is also offered with tritium night sights and three magazines for law enforcement.
