Savage Arms announced the addition of two new rifles, the B Series Left Hand and the B Series Compact. These bolt action rifles add to Savage's already extensive lineup of rimfire rifles. The B Series Left Hand is as the name implies– a left-handed rifle. This solves the problem of lefties having to work the bolt with their right hand. This is convenient, and also saves time when taking follow up shots. B Series Left Hand by Savage Savage Arms Communication Manager, JJ Reich, stated, “Research reports more than 10 percent of Americans are left-handed.” This is a statistic Savage is not ignoring; Savage currently offers over 20 left-handed models. B Series Compact by Savage The B Series Compact has a shorter overall length by 4-inches, when compared to the standard B Series Left Hand. A rifle with a shorter OAL is easier for small-framed people to shoot and manipulate effectively. For a smaller person, the shorter length of pull lends to being able to consistently shoulder the rifle. Having a rifle that fits your body type has several benefits like allowing for repeatable eye relief and natural point of aim.
