Making a purchase through one of our links may earn us a small commission, and helps support independent gun reviews. Learn More I have been good friends with the owner of Perroz Designs since before his company started. Knowing Milan, I assumed from the everything would be made like some Skynet enabled CNC machine would be stitching and assembling it. He has since developed more than a few different products, and you might have seen some of them at other peoples booths or in their photos. For instance, he's done laser cut patches for Blue Force Gear, Redback One and others. When it came time for us to get some custom RECOIL staff patches (like the one in Britila39's picture above) I knew just who to contact. He made these and several other for Redback One. Jason Falla is routinely wearing them when training. He even made this awesome one for Eric over at Soldier Systems Daily. Perroz Designs laser cuts patches from one of the many patterns and fabrics they stock. They then affix it to a backing of your choice (glow, IR or SOLAS). They even make these little mini United States Flags. Or how about this Devils Brigade Patch that you might have recently seen some CSOR guys or Perhaps some dudes in the Arcteryx catalog photos wearing them. Milan White-Garnet, the proprietor of Perroz Designs. He also has some other great products like his Low Profile Slick Plate Carrier which is in use by almost all my friends who use plates. If your looking for a cheaper option Perroz also has minimalist version of their carrier although with the exchange rate these are very afforable. Perroz Designs LPSPC (Low Profile Slick Plate Carrier) in Wolf Grey For those of you looking for a shirt that won't make you feel like you're covered in damp rags and still allow you to display your patches, check out their Coolmax shirt. I don't have one of these due to a XL Long requirement but I hear good things Keep your eyes peeled on RECOIL Web as you will have a chance to win a laser cut RECOIL patch that you can't get anywhere else…. unless your one of the nefarious scum who jacked them off our gear during SHOT Show. You can check out some of his other products here, Facebook or check out their Instagram. This has been a Small Business Saturday article. Regardless of what people like Daniel De Leon or David Korten might think about capitalism, the free market a common cornerstone of the richest, most powerful countries in the world — not least of which by any means the United States. Though it is becoming increasingly vilified, there is nothing wrong with a desire to succeed and to accumulate wealth. No great philanthropist in history could have done what they did without the money to do it. At the heart of “the American dream” is the entrepreneur driven small business. Join us in supporting small businesses as they strive to succeed. Make sure you also check our previous EntreprenewYear rundown. “I'm convinced that there's a new way to define capitalism, and that the definition should include three ingredients – that we love our work, that we are building a traditionally successful business, and that we are having some positive impact on the world, whether it's local or global.” Biz Stone “One of the sad signs of our times is that we have demonized those who produce, subsidized those who refuse to produce, and canonized those who complain.” Thomas Sowell “Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.” Milton Friedman “It is my fervent belief that the only way out of the troubles that America is suffering is through commerce.” Michael Goerlich Explore RECOILweb:How to Choose and Use Handheld Lights for Self-DefenseArrowhead Tactical Apparel Review: No More ExcusesTenzing TZ CF Legend Hybrid Frame PackFriday Night Gun Porn: Behind the Scenes at 2 Vets Arms NEXT STEP: Download Your Free Target Pack from RECOILFor years, RECOIL magazine has treated its readers to a full-size (sometimes full color!) shooting target tucked into each big issue.
