Learn More You know that cool Slovenian pistol we showed you at the recent NRA Annual Meetings? Yep, the REX ALPHA competition pistol. Well, the United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) added the new ALPHA from REX Firearms to the Production Class approved list. With an MSRP of $1099 the REX Alpha is right in line with some of the most competitive pistols in the class and will likely make an appearance at a match local to you. REX Firearms had the following to say about the addition of the ALPHA to the Production Division's ranks: Celebrated for its precision, quality, and durability, the REX ALPHA from Slovenia continues to impress as it recently joined the USPSA Production Class gun list. It’s no surprise that the handgun, which was designed for competitive shooting, is making a splash in the firearms community. The REX ALPHA is an optimized competition-ready 9mm steel-frame pistol. The REX ALPHA features the following enhancements such as an undercut trigger, shorter grip, adjustable trigger reset (2mm from factory), internal flared magwell, competition spring set, ambidextrous manual safeties, fiber optic front sights, and fully adjustable rear sight. Also joining the USPSA list is the REX Zero 1, a 9mm handgun available in Standard, Compact, or Tactical model. The Zero 1 complies with strict military standards for reliability and has passed extreme temperate and drop tests. The service of the Zero 1 is expected to exceed over 30,000 rounds. The Rex Alpha has been approved on the IPSC circuit for over a year now, and its addition to the USPSA Production Class with the Rex Zero 1 series will provide hammer fired pistol competitors with an additional and impressive option to help further their competition skills.
