This the Low Drag Mount from Scalarworks of South Orange, NJ. The Low Drag Mount is described as the “…ultimate compliment to the Aimpoint Micro.” [sic] It's sleek, strong and really damn light. The LDM is designed to both prevent loss of zero under heavy recoil and guarantee maintained zero on every reinstallation. A thumbwheel with ball detent is supposed to do the former; a guided telescoping clamp should do the latter. I played around with one for a little while day thanks to Asset Weapon Manufacturing and it's pretty nice. Starting Sunday several of us will have the opportunity to use it next week at 88 Tactical during one of Will Petty's VCQB classes. Hopefully that will give us the chance to check out the company's claims.
