Learn More Since the announcement of the McMillan MC3 stocks (pronounced McCubbed) at SHOT Show 2017, McMillan has been working hard at refining the manufacturing process. Just recently they released word to RECOIL that the first stocks have come off the molding machine. Pricing for the new Mc3 starts at $259 and goes up to $459 depending on options and materials used to construct the stock. McMillan shot a short video of the first stock coming off the mold where Kelly McMillan gives the latest on the Mc3 line. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5aib7P5Nt5o More from McMillan: The McMillan Family will be launching their latest line of stocks this Summer. The new company MC3, pronounced McCubed, was set up to develop the very best in TPIM (thermo plastic injection molded) stocks. Until now, most plastic stocks were scorned as being ‘Tupperware’, and that was a challenge that Kelly McMillan couldn’t turn down. He reasoned that if he could deliver a low cost, quality product bearing the McMillan name, that would help younger hunters to acquire the very best at an affordable price. While a new business unit obviously has to be a profitable venture, the focus was on the blend of material as well as the best patterns to offer. The proprietary compound he decided on has been named Xenolite, and the patterns offered are the Legend, modeled after the McMillan A5, and the Tradition, modeled after the Game Scout. Both stocks will be available for the REM700 in right hand, short and long action. Release dates for the Tradition are scheduled for end of July while the Legend will follow at end of Summer.
