A NEW ASSAULT WEAPON BAN ON THE HORIZON, IS THERE HOPE?

HB 1240 in the state of Washington has been making its way through the state house halls, and it looks like this will pass into law soon. 

Banning over 60 models of semi-automatic firearms, this would also ban basically all ARs, AKs, and really any semi-automatic firearm with a detachable magazine plus one more “evil feature.” Those features include telescoping stocks, threaded barrels, a muzzle brake, or a pistol grip. This ban would also extend to semi-automatic pistols and shotguns.

That’s the bad news.

The good news is that for residents of Washington, this apocalypse hasn’t gone into law – yet.
